2016-00970 In the Matter of Yehuda David Taller, a suspended attorney. (Attorney Registration No. 2824118)
| DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION FOR REINSTATEMENT |
Motion by Yehuda David Taller for reinstatement to the Bar as an attorney and counselor-at-law. Mr. Taller was admitted to the Bar at a term of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court in the Second Judicial Department on June 25, 1997. By decision and order on motion of this Court dated March 31, 2016, the Court authorized the Grievance Committee for the Second, Eleventh, and Thirteenth Judicial Districts to institute and prosecute a disciplinary proceeding against Mr. Taller, and the issues raised were referred to the Honorable Abraham G. Gerges, as Special Referee, to hear and report. By opinion and order of this Court dated June 21, 2017, Mr. Taller was suspended from the practice of law for a period of one year, commencing July 21, 2017 (see Matter of Taller, 152 AD3d 84). By decision and order on motion of this Court dated December 18, 2017, inter alia, Mr. Taller was granted leave to file responsive papers in connection with the motion to confirm the report of the Special Referee, and, upon consideration of those papers, the Court adhered to its original determination.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in relation thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motion is denied without prejudice to renew upon submission of proper papers, including, but not limited to, the submission of the documents required by paragraphs 19 and 27 of the affidavit contained in Appendix C of the Rules for Attorney Disciplinary Matters.
SCHEINKMAN, P.J., MASTRO, RIVERA, DILLON and BALKIN, JJ., concur.
