Motion by the appellant pursuant to CPLR 2001 to deem a notice of appeal to reflect that it is from an order of the Court of Claims dated March 12, 2018, pursuant to CPLR 5520(a) to deem the notice of appeal, which was timely filed, to be timely served upon the State of New York, and to extend the time to perfect the appeal.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motion is granted, the appellant's time to perfect the appeal is extended until April 3, 2018, and the record or appendix on the appeal and the appellant's brief shall be served and filed on or before that date.
