DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION FOR REINSTATEMENT

Motion by Wilmer Hill Grier for reinstatement to the Bar as an attorney and counselor-at-law. Ms. Grier was admitted to the Bar at a term of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court in the First Judicial Department on October 10, 1972. By decision and order on application of this Court dated June 1, 2010, the Grievance Committee for the Second, Eleventh, and Thirteenth Judicial Districts was authorized to institute and prosecute a disciplinary proceeding against Ms. Grier based on allegations of professional misconduct set forth in a petition dated March 9, 2010, and the issues raised were referred to the Honorable Jerome M. Becker, as Special Referee, to hear and report. By opinion and order of this Court dated June 28, 2011, Ms. Grier was suspended from the practice of law for a period of five years, commencing July 28, 2011, based on three charges of professional misconduct.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in relation thereto, it is

ORDERED that the motion is denied.

We find that Wilmer Hill Grier does not demonstrate the requisite character and fitness to practice law.
