DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION
| The People of the State of New York, Respondent, v Cecil MacDonald, Appellant. |
Appeal from a judgment of conviction of the Criminal Court of the City of New York, Kings County, rendered October 22, 2015. Assigned counsel submitted a brief in accordance with Anders v California (386 US 738 [1967]), in which she moved for leave to withdraw as counsel for appellant, and advised this court that appellant did not respond to correspondence sent to him by assigned counsel. Upon the order to show cause and no papers having been filed in response thereto, and upon the motion by assigned counsel, it is
ORDERED that the motion to dismiss the appeal is granted and the appeal is dismissed; and it is further,
ORDERED that assigned counsel's motion to be relieved is granted.
