DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Motion by the attorney for the child to dismiss an appeal from a stated portion of a judgment of the Supreme Court, Nassau County, dated February 8, 2018, on the ground that it has been rendered academic.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in opposition and in relation thereto, it is

ORDERED that the motion is denied; and it is further,

ORDERED that pursuant to § 670.3(b) of the rules of this Court (22 NYCRR 670.3[b]), the time for the respondent and the attorney for the child to serve and file their respective briefs is extended until August 16, 2019, and the briefs shall be served and filed on or before that date.
