The People of the State of New York, Respondent, v Laura A. Smith, Appellant.

Motion by appellant to enlarge the time to perfect on an appeal from a judgment of conviction of the District Court of Suffolk County, Traffic and Parking Violations Agency District, rendered January 23, 2018.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers having been filed in opposition thereto, it is

ORDERED that the motion is granted and appellant shall perfect the appeal by September 6, 2019; and it is further

ORDERED that in the event the appeal is not perfected on or before September 6, 2019, the court, on its own motion, may dismiss the appeal, or respondent may move to dismiss the appeal on three days' notice, and may serve the application in person.
