| DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION |
2019-03064, 2019-03065
Federal National Mortgage Association, respondent,
v Jehoshea Greenfeld, appellant, et al., defendants.
(Index No. 503048/15)
Motion by the appellant Jehoshea Greenfeld to extend the time to perfect appeals from three orders of the Supreme Court, Kings County, dated May 7, 2018, September 4, 2018, and October 3, 2018, respectively, and to consolidate the appeals.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and no papers having been filed in opposition or in relation thereto, it is
ORDERED that on the Court's own motion, the appeal from the order dated May 7, 2018, is dismissed, without costs or disbursements, on the ground that no appeal lies as of right from an order that is not the result of a motion made on notice (see CPLR 5701), and leave to appeal has not been granted; and it is further,
ORDERED that the branch of the motion which is to extend the time to perfect the appeals from the orders dated September 4, 2018, and October 3, 2018, is granted, and the time to perfect those appeals is extended until October 18, 2019; and it is further,
ORDERED that the branch of the motion which is to consolidate the appeals from the orders dated September 4, 2018, and October 3, 2018, is denied as unnecessary as those appeals are consolidated; and it is further,
ORDERED that the motion is otherwise denied as academic.
RIVERA, J.P., COHEN, MALTESE and IANNACCI, JJ., concur.
