Respondent-appellant having moved for an extension of time to perfect the appeal taken herein from an order of the Family Court, Oswego County, entered December 11, 2018, and for the appointment of a guardian ad litem,
Now, upon reading and filing the papers with respect to the motion, and due deliberation having been had thereon,
It is hereby ORDERED that the motion insofar as it seeks an extension of time to perfect is granted, the time to perfect the appeal is extended to September 23, 2019, and, in the event of failure to so perfect, the appeal is hereby dismissed without further order, and
It is further ORDERED that the motion insofar as it seeks the appointment of a guardian ad litem is denied.
Memorandum: CPLR 1202 requires that the appointment of a guardian ad litem be made by the court in which an action is triable.
