ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE

Appeal from an order of the Supreme Court, Kings County, dated April 18, 2018. By decision and order on motion dated April 3, 2019, this Court directed the appellant to either remove certain stricken material from the copies of the appellant's brief filed with the Clerk of this Court and file a replacement digital copy of the appellant's brief, or serve and file a replacement brief that did not contain the stricken material and file a replacement digital copy of the appellant's brief, on or before May 6, 2019. The appellant has not complied with the decision and order on motion dated April 3, 2019.

Now, on the Court's own motion, it is

ORDERED that the parties are directed to show cause before this Court why an order should or should not be made and entered dismissing the appeal for failure to comply with the decision and order on motion of this Court dated April 3, 2019, by filing an affirmation or an affidavit on that issue in the office of the Clerk of this Court on or before October 11, 2019; and it is further,

ORDERED that the Clerk of this Court, or her designee, is directed to serve a copy of this order to show cause upon the parties, by regular mail.
