Appeal from an order of the Civil Court of the City of New York, Kings County, entered August 17, 2016. In a decision and order on motion of this court dated October 18, 2019, the parties were directed to show cause why the appeal should or should not be dismissed for lack of prosecution.
Upon the order to show cause, and upon the papers filed by appellant in response thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motion to dismiss the appeal is denied; and it is further,
ORDERED that appellant shall serve and file an appellant's brief within 14 days of the date of this decision and order on motion; and it is further,
ORDERED that respondent, if it be so advised, may serve and file a respondent's brief within 14 days after service of the appellant's brief.
