An order of this Court having been entered on November 20, 2018(M-4604) granting defendant leave to prosecute, as a poor person, the appeal taken from the judgment of the Supreme Court, New York County, rendered on or about January 8, 2018 and a Certificate having been issued by a Justice of this Court on September 25, 2019 (M-2165) granting defendant leave to appeal from orders, same Court, entered on or about December 21, 2016 and January 9, 2018, and Marianne Karas, Esq., having been assigned as counsel to prosecute the appeals; and a motion having been made by defendant, pro se, to relieve such counsel, Now, upon reading and filing the papers with respect to the motion, and due deliberation having been had thereon, It is ordered that the motion is granted to the extent of striking the designation of Marianne Karas, Esq., as assigned counsel to prosecute defendant's appeals, and substituting, pursuant to Section 722 of the County Law, Janet E. Sabel, Esq., The Legal Aid Society, 199 Water Street, 5th Floor, New York, New York 10038, Telephone No. 212-577-3688 as such counsel. The poor
