DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

The People of the State of New York, Respondent, v Michael Marom, Appellant.

Motion by John Savoca, Esq., counsel assigned to represent appellant on an appeal from a judgment of conviction of the Justice Court of the Town of Greenburgh, Westchester County, rendered March 29, 2019, to be relieved of the assignment.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is

ORDERED that the motion is granted, and John V. Savoca, Esq., is relieved from representing appellant with respect to the appeal and is directed to turn over all papers, including the transcripts, to appellant; and it is further,

ORDERED that on or before January 13, 2020, John Savoca, Esq., shall serve his client, by one of the methods specified in CPLR 2103 (c), with a copy of this decision and order on motion and shall file proof of such service with the clerk of this court; and it is further,

ORDERED that no further proceedings shall be taken against appellant, without leave of the court, until the expiration of 30 days after the service upon him of a copy of this decision and order on motion; and it is further,

ORDERED, on the court's own motion, that appellant's time to perfect the appeal is enlarged to April 3, 2020; and it is further,

ORDERED that in the event the appeal is not perfected by April 3, 2020, the court, on its own motion, without further notice, may dismiss the appeal, or respondent may move to dismiss the appeal, on three days' notice.
