ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE

Appeal by Barbara B. from an order of the Family Court, Queens County, dated May 15, 2019. By scheduling order dated September 19, 2019, the appellant was directed to perfect the appeal within 60 days after the receipt by the appellant of the transcripts of the minutes of the proceedings in the Family Court. On October 23, 2019, the appellant advised this Court that she had received the transcripts. The appellant has not perfected the appeal.

Now, on the Court's own motion, it is

ORDERED that the parties to the appeal are directed to show cause before this Court why an order should or should not be made and entered dismissing the appeal in the above-entitled proceeding for failure to comply with the scheduling order dated September 19, 2019, by each filing an affirmation or affidavit on that issue in the office of the Clerk of this Court and serving one copy of the same on each other on or before February 28, 2020; and it is further,

ORDERED that the Clerk of this Court, or her designee, is directed to serve a copy of this order to show cause upon the parties to the appeal by regular mail.
