DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Motion by the respondents to extend the time to serve and file a brief on an appeal from a decree of the Surrogate's Court, Kings County, dated July 19, 2018, for leave to file an oversized brief of 19,000 words, and to waive the requirement of 22 NYCRR 670.1(c)(3) that only one counsel of record may represent a party on the appeal.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is

ORDERED that the branch of the motion which is to extend the time to serve and file a brief is granted, the respondents' time to serve and file a brief is extended until March 20, 2020, and the respondents' brief shall be served and filed on or before that date; and it is further,

ORDERED that the branch of the motion which is for leave to file an oversized brief of 19,000 words is denied without prejudice to making an application pursuant to 22 NYCRR 1250.9(h); and it is further,

ORDERED that the branch of the motion which is to waive the requirement of 22 NYCRR 670.1(c)(3) that only one counsel of record may represent a party on the appeal is granted, and Jaspan Schlesinger and Ruskin Mocou Faltisck shall both represent the respondents on the appeal pursuant to Local Rule 670.1(c)(3) (see 22 NYCRR 670.1[c][3]).
