| DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION |
Application to discontinue the above-entitled disciplinary proceeding by reason of the death of the respondent on March 1, 2020. The respondent was admitted to the Bar as an attorney and counselor-at-law at a term of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court in the Second Judicial Department on February 14, 1972. By decision and order on motion of this Court dated February 21, 2020, the respondent was immediately suspended from the practice of law pursuant to Judiciary Law § 90(4)(f) based on his conviction of a serious crime, and he was directed to show cause at a hearing why a final order of discipline should not be imposed.
Upon the papers filed in support of the application, it is
ORDERED that the application is granted, and the above-entitled disciplinary proceeding is discontinued, by reason of the death of the respondent.
