In the Matter of Uzmah Saghir,

a disbarred attorney.

(Attorney Registration No. 4030698)

DECISION & ORDER ON
MOTION FOR REINSTATEMENT

Motion by Uzmah Saghir, inter alia, for reinstatement to the Bar as an attorney and counselor-at-law. Ms. Saghir was admitted to the Bar at a term of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court in the Second Judicial Department on April 10, 2002. By opinion and order of this Court dated May 24, 2011, Ms. Saghir was disbarred and her name was stricken from the roll of attorneys and counselors-at-law based on the disciplinary action taken against her by the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in relation thereto, it is

ORDERED that the motion is denied.

We find that Uzmah Saghir does not demonstrate the requisite character and fitness to practice law.

SCHEINKMAN, P.J., MASTRO, RIVERA, DILLON and COHEN, JJ., concur.
