2020-04772 The People, etc., respondent, v German Umanzor, appellant. (Ind. No. 1670/2017)
| DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION |
Motion by German Umanzor pursuant to CPL 460.30 for an extension of time to take an appeal from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Nassau County, rendered November 16, 2018, for leave to prosecute the appeal as a poor person, and for the assignment of counsel.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and no papers having been filed in opposition or in relation thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motion is denied, without prejudice to the defendant making an application for a writ of error coram nobis on the ground that the defendant's trial counsel was ineffective for failing to timely file a notice of appeal from the judgment rendered November 16, 2018.
RIVERA, J.P., ROMAN, HINDS-RADIX and LASALLE, JJ., concur.
