DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Estate of John Eason, Respondent, v Lisa Eason, Appellant.

Motion by appellant for a stay pending the determination of an appeal from an order of the District Court of Nassau County, First District, entered January 3, 2020, and, in effect, for summary reversal.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is

ORDERED that the branch of the motion seeking, in effect, summary reversal is denied; and it is further,

ORDERED that the branch of the motion seeking a stay pending the determination of the appeal is granted on condition that the appeal be perfected on or before September 4, 2020, by filing a digital copy of the brief, with proof of service, onto the court's digital portal, Records, Briefs & Motions Drop Off, found on the court's website at:

https://nycourts.sharepoint.com/sites/AT2-DCS/SitePages/Home.aspx.

Upon the full re-opening of the court, the parties will be directed to file hard copies of such briefs with the court; and it is further,

ORDERED that in the event that the above condition is not met, the court, on its own motion, may vacate the stay, without further notice, or respondent may move to vacate the stay, on three days' notice, and may serve such application in person.
