An order of this Court having been entered on July 30, 2020 (M-221) suspending respondent from the practice of law in the State of New York for a period of one year, effective August 31, 2020, and until further order of this Court, And respondent having applied to this Court on August 24, 2020, for an order staying the effective date of his suspension and the deadlines imposed by 22 NYCRR 1240.15, pending the determination of his motion for, inter alia, renewal and reargument,And the Committee, by Jorge Dopico, its Chief Attorney (Naomi F. Goldstein, Esq., of counsel), having stated that it consents to respondent's application for an interim stay of the effective date of his suspension, Now, upon reading and filing the papers with respect to the application for the interim stay, and due deliberation having been had thereon, it is unanimously, Ordered that application is granted and the effective date of respondent's suspension from the practice of law in the State of New York, and the deadlines imposed by 22 NYCRR 1240.15, are hereby extended for an additional 60 days or until respondent's motion to reargue and renew is decided by this Court.ENTERED: August 28, 2020
