On the Court's own motion, it is
ORDERED that the order to show cause of this Court dated August 28, 2020, in the above-entitled case is recalled and vacated, and the following order to show cause is substituted therefor:
Appeal by Kerry D. P. from an order of the Family Court, Queens County, dated September 9, 2019. By order on certification of this Court dated November 8, 2019, the following attorney was assigned as counsel for the appellant on the appeal, and was directed, inter alia, to contact the appellant and determine the appellant's interest in perfecting the appeal:

By letter dated July 15, 2020, assigned counsel notified the Court that counsel has been unable to contact the appellant.
On the Court's own motion, it is
ORDERED that the parties are directed to show cause before this Court why an order should or should not be made and entered relieving the assigned counsel for the appellant and dismissing the appeal in the above-entitled proceeding, by uploading a digital copy of an affirmation or affidavit, with proof of service thereof, through the digital portal on this Court's website on or before September 25, 2020; if a self-represented party is unable to use the digital portal, they may instead file a copy of an affirmation or affidavit, with proof of service thereof, via email at [email protected] or via regular mail addressed to the Clerk of this Court on or before September 25, 2020; and it is further,
