ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE

Appeal from a judgment Supreme Court, Richmond County, entered January 15, 2019. By decision and order on motion of this Court dated May 28, 2020, the appellant's counsel was granted leave to withdraw and no attorney has appeared to prosecute the appeal on the appellant's behalf.

Now, on the Court's own motion, it is

ORDERED that the parties are directed to show cause before this Court why an order should or should not be made and entered dismissing the appeal on the ground that the appellant has abandoned the appeal (see CPLR 321[a]), by uploading a digital copy of an affirmation or an affidavit, with proof of service thereof, through the digital portal on this Court's website, on or before December 2, 2020; and it is further,

ORDERED that the Clerk of the Court, or her designee, shall serve a copy of this order to show cause upon the appellant pro se and counsel for the respondent, by regular mail.
