In the Matter of Michael Sprei, a disbarred attorney. (Attorney Registration No. 4170817)
| DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION FOR REINSTATEMENT |
Motion by Michael Sprei for reinstatement to the Bar as an attorney and counselor-at-law. Mr. Sprei was admitted to the Bar at a term of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court in the Second Judicial Department on November 19, 2003. By decision and order on motion of this Court dated January 6, 2012, inter alia, pursuant to former 22 NYCRR 691.4, Mr. Sprei was suspended from the practice of law pending determination of the disciplinary proceeding against him. By opinion and order of this Court dated January 30, 2013, as amended April 26, 2013, and April 30, 2013, Mr. Sprei was disbarred, effective immediately, upon his resignation, and his name was stricken from the roll of attorneys and counselors-at-law.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in relation thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motion is denied.
We find that Michael Sprei does not demonstrate the requisite fitness and character to practice law.
SCHEINKMAN, P.J., MASTRO, RIVERA, DILLON and LASALLE, JJ., concur.
