DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Appeals from two orders of the Supreme Court, Nassau County, dated October 4, 2019, and October 10, 2019, respectively. Motion by New York State School Boards Association, New York State Council of School Superintendents, and Association of School Business Officials of New York for leave to file an amicus curiae brief. Separate motion by Incorporate Village of East Williston for leave to file an amicus curiae brief.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motions and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is

ORDERED that the motion by New York State School Boards Association, New York State Council of School Superintendents, and Association of School Business Officials of New York is granted; and it is further,

ORDERED that the amicus curiae brief shall be served and filed via NYSCEF on or before March 10, 2021, and the New York State School Boards Association, New York State Council of School Superintendents, and Association of School Business Officials of New York shall file an original and five hard copies of their amicus curiae brief in accordance with any applicable administrative order or other order to be issued by the Court; and it is further,

ORDERED that no oral argument by the amicus curiae shall be permitted; and it is further,

ORDERED that the parties, if they be so advised, may file reply briefs to the amicus curiae brief within 10 days after the service upon them of the amicus curiae brief; and it is further,

ORDERED that the motion by Incorporated Village of East Williston is denied.
