DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Appeal from a judgment of the County Court, Dutchess County, rendered January 21, 2020. Motion by the appellant pro se, inter alia, to extend the time to perfect the appeal and to waive the requirement that he sign the waiver of the right to appellate counsel as directed by decision and order on motion of this Court dated September 16, 2020. Separate motion by the appellant, in effect, for summary reversal.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motions and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is

ORDERED that the branch of the motion which is to extend the time to perfect the appeal is granted and the appellant shall prosecute the appeal expeditiously in accordance with this Court's rules (see 22 NYCRR 1250.9) and written directions; and it is further,

ORDERED that the motion, inter alia, to waive the requirement that he sign the waiver of the right to appellate counsel as directed by decision and order on motion of this Court dated September 16, 2020, is otherwise denied; and it is further,

ORDERED that the motion, in effect, for summary reversal is denied.
