Motion by Robert L. Rimberg for reinstatement to the Bar as an attorney and counselor-at-law. Mr. Rimberg was admitted to the Bar at a term of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court in the First Judicial Department on May 4, 1987. By decision and order on motion dated October 19, 2017, this Court immediately suspended Mr. Rimberg from the practice of law based on his conviction of a serious crime pursuant to Judiciary Law § 90(4)(f). By opinion and order of this Court dated June 3, 2020, Mr. Rimberg was suspended from the practice of law for a period of three years, with credit for the time elapsed under the decision and order on motion dated October 19, 2017.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in relation thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motion is held in abeyance, and the matter is referred to a Committee on Character and Fitness to investigate and report on Robert L. Rimberg's character and fitness to practice law.
