ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE

Appeal from an order of the Supreme Court, Suffolk County, dated October 23, 2017. By decision and order on motion of this Court dated January 6, 2021, Shima Afghani was directed to submit corrected covers for the copies of the record and her brief filed with the Clerk of this Court that denominate only Shima Afghani as the appellant and identify the defendants as set forth in the caption of the judgment, and serve and file via NYSCEF a supplemental record containing the judgment. Shima Afghani has not submitted the corrected covers or served and filed the supplemental record.

Now, on the Court's own motion, it is

ORDERED that the parties to the appeal are directed to show cause before this Court why an order should or should not be made and entered dismissing the appeal for failure to comply with the decision and order on motion of this Court dated January 6, 2021, by uploading an affirmation or an affidavit on that issue through the digital portal on this Court's website on or before September 24, 2021; and it is further,

ORDERED that the Clerk of this Court, or her designee, is directed to serve a copy of this order to show cause upon the parties to the appeal, by uploading a copy of this order to show cause via NYSCEF.
