2021-04417 In the Matter of Denise M. B. (Anonymous), et al., petitioners-respondents, v Ryan P. B. (Anonymous), respondent, Julia C. (Anonymous), respondent-appellant. (Docket No. G-3941-2021)
| DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION |
Appeal from an order of the Family Court, Queens County, dated June 4, 2021. Motion by Julia C. for poor person relief and the assignment of counsel. By order to show cause dated September 1, 2021, the parties were directed to show cause before this Court why an order should or should not be made and entered dismissing the appeal in the above-entitled proceeding on the ground that the appeal has been rendered academic as the order has expired by its own terms, and the motion by Julia C. was held in abeyance in the interim.
Now, upon the order to show cause and no papers having been filed in response thereto, and upon the papers filed in support of the motion by Julia C. and the papers filed in relation thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motion to dismiss the appeal is granted and the appeal is dismissed, without costs or disbursements; and it is further,
ORDERED that the motion by Julia C. is denied as academic.
RIVERA, J.P., BRATHWAITE NELSON, FORD and DOWLING, JJ., concur.
