DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

By decision and order on application of this Court dated October 22, 2021, Catherine A. Sheridan, Chief Counsel, Grievance Committee for the Tenth Judicial District, was appointed as inventory attorney for the legal files of Natale A. Cerniglia, an attorney admitted to the Bar at a term of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court in the Second Judicial Department on May 7, 1975, under the name Natale Anthony Cerniglia.

On the Court's own motion, it is

ORDERED that Catherine A. Sheridan, Chief Counsel, Grievance Committee for the Tenth Judicial District, 150 Motor Parkway, Suite 102, Hauppauge, NY 11788, is relieved as inventory attorney for the legal files of Natale A. Cerniglia, admitted as Natale Anthony Cerniglia; and it is further,

ORDERED that Steven J. Maffei, 8512 Bay 16th Street, Brooklyn, New York 11214, is hereby appointed as inventory attorney (1) to take custody of and inventory the files of Natale A. Cerniglia, admitted as Natale Anthony Cerniglia, an attorney, including any original wills, (2) to take custody of and safeguard the records of any business, escrow, trust, or special bank account of the attorney, (3) to receive, open, and read mail addressed to the attorney at his regular place of business, and (4) to take such action as is deemed proper and advisable to protect the interests of the former clients of the attorney.
