Candidate Biography
Personal Statement |
- For me, a former professor of language and literature, a Judge isn't merely an arbiter of conflicts in society, (s)he must also be an example of right-living, especially to the young: kind but firm, wise, broadly educated and virtuous.
As Law Secretary to Justices Frank O'Connor, JSC (Appellate Division, 2d Department) and
Peter Patsalos, JSC (Supreme Court, Orange County), twenty-three years drafting their decisions, advising them on the current law and learning from them, I'm now prepared to continue their example of scholarship, impartiality, integrity and virtue.
Whatever your party affiliation, I welcome and greatly appreciate your support.
