Candidate Biography
Personal Statement |
- Judge Kluewer earned a citation for excellence in clinical education upon graduation from Hofstra Law School in1974. In 2005, the Hofstra Law Women designated her a distinguished alumna. She is an active member of the Nassau County Bar Association, served as its President in 2004-2005, and served two terms as Associate Dean of its Nassau Academy of Law. She is also an active member of the Nassau County Women's Bar Association, where she served two terms on its Board of Directors. Judge Kluewer is a founding member of Courthouse Kiwanis, and is a long-time volunteer for Island Harvest.
