Anthony Cannataro is the Administrative Judge of the Civil Court of the City of New York and a Justice of the New York State Supreme Court.

Justice Cannataro previously served as Supervising Judge of the Civil Court in New York County from 2016 through 2017. Prior to that, he sat as a Judge of the Civil Court in Bronx County. Judge Cannataro was elected to Civil Court in 2011 and was designated an Acting Justice of the Supreme Court from 2016 until he was elected to that court in 2017. His first assignment after being elected to the Civil Court was as an Acting Judge of the Family Court in Kings County from 2012 to 2013.

Prior to becoming a judge, he served as a Law Clerk to the Hon. Lottie Wilkins in Supreme Court, New York County and Law Clerk to the Hon. Carmen Beauchamp Ciparick at the New York State Court of Appeals, New York's highest court, where he served for three years.
