App. Div. order of 3/27/25; affirmance; leave to appeal granted by Cannataro, J., 8/11/25; Crimes--Evidence--Whether the trial court's admission of testimony regarding the contents of surveillance video footage violated the best evidence rule; Supreme Court, New York County, convicted defendant, after a jury trial, of assault in the third degree, and sentenced her to one year in jail; App. Div. affirmed.

MATTER OF NYS OFFICE OF VICTIM SERVICES v BLUE (240 AD3d 1064):
APL-2025-00155 3rd Dept. App. Div. order of 7/17/25; affirmance; sua sponte examination of whether the order appealed from finally determines the proceeding within the meaning of the Constitution and whether any jurisdictional basis exists for an appeal as of right; Motions and Orders--Whether respondent's motion to vacate or modify the preliminary injunction was properly denied; Supreme Court, Albany County, in a proceeding under Executive Law � 632-a, among other things, denied respondent's motion to vacate a prior order granting a preliminary injunction; App. Div. affirmed.
