On February 19, 2026, the Third Department held a session of court at Albany Law School. Former Presiding Justice Anthony V. Cardona first started the tradition of holding session at the law school in 1995, and this year marked the Court's 29th session at the law school. The court panel - Presiding Justice Elizabeth A. Garry, Justice Christine M. Clark, Justice Stan L. Prtizker, Justice Eddie J. McShan and Justice Justin O. Corcoran heard four cases before a group of law students and professors in the Dean Alexander Moot Courtroom and then answered questions from the students.
