Overview
The Matrimonial Center is part of the New York State Supreme Court, and is located at 101 County Seat Drive, Mineola, NY 11501 (Third Floor).
The Matrimonial Center is a unique facility that houses all of the dedicated Matrimonial Parts for the Supreme Court, including the Model Custody Part. There are courtrooms for six Justices assigned to the Matrimonial Center, along with hearing rooms for Judicial Hearing Officers and Special Referees, all handling matrimonial matters. The building also contains all of the matrimonial support staff, with the exception of subpoenaed records.
This site contains information concerning contact information, court rules and policies, court notices, search capabilities for signed judgments and orders, as well as printable information sheets. This site is designed to help litigants and attorneys obtain information in a more expeditious fashion as it pertains to divorce actions in Nassau County.
Hours and Rules
The Matrimonial Center is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00pm. Courtrooms open at 9:15am.
Please be advised that anyone entering the courthouse must go through a magnetometer, and their property must be scanned prior to entry. Attorneys must have a valid Secure Pass when entering.
There are no weapons allowed in the courthouse. If you have a carry permit, or you are a police or peace officer entering the courthouse outside your official duties, you must check your weapon with the Court Officers upon entering the building.
There are no cell phones allowed in the courthouse that contain cameras.
No food is allowed in the courthouse.
There are two public copy machines available for a fee. If they are not working, there are other machines available across the street in Supreme Court.
Subpoenaed Records
Please take notice that the Matrimonial Center does not have its own Records Room to house subpoenaed records. Therefore, any records to be subpoenaed for trial in the Matrimonial Center should be delivered to the:
