The Court System operates and maintains a variety of law libraries. Our primary purpose is to provide books, online resources, and helpful staff so anyone can learn more about the law. By doing this, we help facilitate the just and timely resolution of all matters before the courts.

Overview
In Delaware County, the Supreme Court Library was created April 7, 1882 (L.1882, Ch. 51) and is presently located on the second floor of the Delaware County Courthouse in Delhi. The library is currently staffed on Mondays, Wednesdays, and every other Tuesday. At all other times, the library is available for use by the public during normal business hours by requesting access through court security. A basic New York and Federal print collection is supplemented by electronic legal resources provided through public access computers. A coin-operated copier is available for public use.
All visitors must pass through a magnetometer upon entering the courthouse.
