The Court System operates and maintains a variety of law libraries. Our primary purpose is to provide books, online resources, and helpful staff so anyone can learn more about the law. By doing this, we help facilitate the just and timely resolution of all matters before the courts.

Monday/Wednesday/Friday: 3:00 p.m. – 5:00pm
Tuesday/Thursday: 2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Saturday: 1:00pm – 4:00 p.m.
Overview
The Coburn Free Library in Owego, New York provides access to several online legal databases, including Westlaw, Lexis, and the Lexis Digital Library. These databases include annotated primary law such as statutes, regulations and case law, plus many secondary sources geared towards both attorneys and the general public, including treatises, practice guides, legal forms, and legal dictionaries and encyclopedias.
