Dear Judge :

         This responds to your inquiry (08-141) in which you ask whether you may serve on the board of [ ], which operates several schools and a group home for troubled and at-risk adolescents. This Committee has concluded, under similar circumstances, that there is no ethical prohibition to serving on the board of this educational organization. Opinion 95-31 addresses this issue, and we have enclosed it for your convenience.
