Overview
Each year, the Unified Court System presents the Legislature with a comprehensive program of statutory reforms designed to enhance fairness and equity, and to streamline courts and their operations. This program is assembled from recommendations received from judges, court personnel, the Chief Administrative Judge’s advisory committees, and outside organizations. The advisory committees are comprised of judges, lawyers, court personnel, academic professionals and others, who annually recommend statutory reforms for consideration.
