Dear Justice:

         This responds to your inquiry (10-62) asking whether you may sponsor and move the admission of your child to practice in federal district court. The Committee has previously determined that it is ethically permissible for a judge to appear in court for this limited purpose. Enclosed for your convenience is Opinion 08-127, which addresses this issue.
