         The Committee on Judicial Ethics, at its meeting of November 19, 1992, considered your inquiry (92-122) about whether you may serve as president of a local bar association.

         The Committee concluded that you may serve as president of the bar association, subject to the restrictions indicated in the enclosed opinions 91-72 and 88-100.
