Digest:         A part-time acting city court judge, who is permitted to practice law, may represent the City, in which he or she sits, in a contract matter.

Opinion:


         A part-time acting city court judge, who is permitted to practice law, has been requested to represent the City in which the judge sits, in a contract matter.


         It is the opinion of this Committee that there is no ethical objection to the judge’s representing the City in this matter. See, §100.5(h) of the Rules of the Chief Administrator.
