| The People of the State of New York,
Respondent, v Eric Comins, Appellant. |
Thomas R. Villecco, New York, NY, for appellant.
David M. Hoovler, District Attorney, Goshen, NY (Andrew R. Kass of counsel), for respondent.
Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the County Court, Orange County (Craig S. Brown, J.), rendered January 8, 2024, convicting him of assault in the second degree, upon his plea of guilty, and imposing sentence.
Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.
The defendant's waiver of his right to appeal, the validity of which he does not challenge, precludes appellate review of his contention that the sentence imposed was excessive (see People v Guzman, 127 AD3d 1108 [2015]). Duffy, J.P., Ford, Love and Golia, JJ., concur.
