| DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION |
Motion by the appellant, inter alia, to enlarge the time to perfect appeals from two orders of the Supreme Court, Kings County, dated May 15, 2009, and August 14, 2009, respectively, and two orders of the same court both dated August 14, 2009, "for leave to proceed in forma pauperis," and for the assignment of counsel.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is
ORDERED that the branch of the motion which is to enlarge the time to perfect the appeals is denied; and it is further,
ORDERED that on the Court's own motion, the appeals are dismissed, without costs or disbursements, for failure to comply with the rules (see 22 NYCRR 670.8[e]) and prior order of this Court; and it is further,
ORDERED that the motion is otherwise denied as academic.
