| DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION FOR REINSTATEMENT |
Motion by M. James Salem for reinstatement to the Bar as an attorney and counselor-at-law. Separate motion by M. James Salem for leave to file additional papers supplementing the motion for reinstatement. Mr. Salem was admitted to the Bar in the State of New York at a term of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court in the Second Judicial Department on January 8, 2003, under the name Maurice J. Salem. By opinion and order of this Court dated March 18, 2020, Mr. Salem was suspended from the practice of law for a period of six months, effective April 17, 2020. In a separate proceeding, under Appellate Division Docket No. 2020-01062, by opinion and order of this Court dated March 3, 2021, Mr. Salem was suspended from the practice of law for a period of one year, effective immediately.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motions and the papers filed in relation thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motion for leave to file additional papers is granted, and those papers have been considered in connection with the motion for reinstatement; and it is further,
ORDERED that the motion for reinstatement is denied in light of the opinion and order of this Court dated March 3, 2021.
