DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

2021-266 S CR
The People of the State of New York, Respondent, v S Petrona-Rosario, Appellant.

Motion by appellant for an extension of time to perfect an appeal from a judgment of conviction of the District Court of Suffolk County, Traffic and Parking Violations Agency, rendered February 25, 2021. Appellant also moves to remand the matter to the District Court for a reconstruction hearing.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers having been filed in opposition thereto, it is

ORDERED that the branch of the motion seeking an extension of time to perfect the appeal is granted, and the appeal shall be perfected on or before July 21, 2022; and it is further

ORDERED that the matter is remitted to the District Court for a hearing to determine if the transcript of the proceedings can be reconstructed. The District Court shall file its report with all convenient speed.
