Application by respondent for assignment of counsel pursuant to Criminal Procedure Law § 380.55 (2) on an appeal from an order of the City Court of Mount Vernon, Westchester County, entered February 28, 2022.
Upon the affirmed representation of James Lee, Esq. that the respondent continues to be eligible for assignment of counsel, it is
ORDERED that pursuant to County Law § 722, Thomas Keating, Esq. is assigned as counsel to represent the respondent; and it is further
ORDERED, on the court's own motion, that respondent may serve and file a respondent's brief within 30 days from the date of this order; and it is further,
ORDERED that appellant, if he be so advised, may serve and file a reply brief within 7 days after service of the respondents' brief.
