2022-06066 In the Matter of Henrietta I. S. (Anonymous). Children's Aid, petitioner-respondent; Musu B. (Anonymous), respondent-appellant. (Docket No. B-2908-2019)
| DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION |
Appeal by Musu B. from an order of the Family Court, Richmond County, dated July 25, 2022. By order to show cause dated August 5, 2022, the parties were directed to show cause before this Court why the appeal should or should not be dismissed on the ground that no appeal lies from an order entered upon the default of the appealing party (see CPLR 5511).
Now, upon the order to show cause and the papers filed in opposition and in relation thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motion to dismiss the appeal is granted and the appeal is dismissed, without costs or disbursements.
BARROS, J.P., MILLER, DOWLING and WARHIT, JJ., concur.
