2022-05323, 2022-05324 In the Matter of Edwin C. (Anonymous), petitioner-respondent, v Fenny C. (Anonymous), respondent-respondent, Jorge C. (Anonymous), appellant. (Docket No. P-5978-2020)
| DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION |
Appeals from two orders of the Family Court, Nassau County, both dated June 22, 2022. Motion by the appellant to stay enforcement of the orders and all proceedings in the above-entitled proceeding, pending hearing and determination of the appeals.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is
ORDERED that on the Court's own motion, the appeals are dismissed, without costs or disbursements, on the ground that no appeal lies as of right from nondispositional orders in a proceeding pursuant to Family Court Act article 5 (see Family Ct Act § 1112; Matter of Jane PP v Paul QQ., 64 NY2d 15), and leave to appeal has not been granted; and it is further,
ORDERED that the motion is denied as academic.
BARROS, J.P., BRATHWAITE NELSON, FORD and WARHIT, JJ., concur.
