DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Federal National Mortgage Association, Respondent, v Lillian Evans, Appellant.

Motion by appellant for leave to prosecute an appeal from an order of the City Court of Newburgh, Orange County, dated May 11, 2022, as a poor person. Separate motion by appellant to extend the time to perfect the appeal.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motions and no papers having been filed in opposition thereto, it is

ORDERED, on the court's own motion, that the motions are consolidated for the purposes of disposition; and it is further,

ORDERED that the motion for leave to prosecute the appeal as a poor person is denied; and it is further,

ORDERED that the motion to enlarge the time to perfect is granted and the appeal shall be perfected on or before August 15, 2023; and it is further,

ORDERED that if the appeal is not perfected by August 15, 2023, the court, on its own motion, may dismiss the appeal, or, the respondent may move, on three days' notice, to dismiss the appeal, and may serve such application on respondent in person.
