DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION
FOR REINSTATEMENT

Wayne Thatcher was admitted to the Bar at a term of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court in the Second Judicial Department on February 3, 1993. By opinion and order of this Court dated September 25, 2019, Thatcher was suspended from the practice of law for a period of two years, commencing October 25, 2019 (Matter of Thatcher, 178 AD3d 38). By decision and order on motion of this Court dated January 21, 2022, Thatcher's motion for reinstatement was held in abeyance and the matter was referred to the Committee on Character and Fitness to investigate and report on his current character and fitness to practice law. By letter dated July 22, 2023, Thatcher withdraws his motion for reinstatement.

Now, on the Court's own motion, it is

ORDERED that the decision and order on motion of this Court dated January 21, 2022, is recalled and vacated, and the motion for reinstatement to the Bar as an attorney and counselor-at-law is deemed withdrawn.
